Who are we?
We are a group of nurse volunteers in York County, Pennsylvania who pay tribute to nurses after their death by providing the Nightingale Tribute at their funeral or memorial service at the request of family.
Who is eligible for the tribute?
The service is intended for any active or retired registered, licensed or advance practice nurse whose funeral or memorial service takes place in York County, PA.
Is there a cost for this?
The Nurse Honor Guard tributes are always at no charge and based on availability of our volunteers.
Who can join this group?
Any active or retired registered, licensed practical or advance practice nurse in good standing is welcome to join this nurse honor guard. Participation is strictly voluntary.
